American Town Hall Meeting in Managua: October 22, 2009 – RSVP Required!
The U.S. Embassy will be holding a Town Hall Meeting at the U.S. Embassy in Managua on October 22, 2009, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. All American citizens who RSVP by October 19 are invited to attend this event hosted by Ambassador Robert J. Callahan.
Representatives from the Consular Section will be available to assist U.S. citizens with registering with the U.S. Embassy and to address questions regarding federal benefits and consular services. The Public Affairs Section will have a variety of information available about English language classes, academic study in the U.S., and access to U.S. research, news and information databases. The Regional Security Officer will also be available to discuss security questions and concerns.

American citizens who want to attend this event must RSVP no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, October 19. To RSVP, please send an email to ACS.Managua@state.gov with your full name, U.S. passport number and the names of all immediate family members accompanying you. You will receive a reply email confirming your attendance with further instructions. Only those with photo identification whose attendance has been confirmed will be admitted into the U.S. Embassy for this event.

Non-emergency, walk-in services for U.S. citizens are available Monday through Friday, 1:00 to 3:00 PM, except on Nicaraguan and U.S. holidays.
