WARDEN MESSAGE

U.S. EMBASSY – MANAGUA

The U.S Embassy in Managua will transfer its operation to the new Embassy on November 17, 2007.  To meet the demands of this move, the American Citizens Services Unit will be closed to the public beginning November 14 through November 19, 2007.  US citizens requiring emergency assistance during this time should call the U.S. Embassy in Managua, phone number (505) 266-6010.  US citizens may also call the Consular Section during normal business hours (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM), phone number (505) 268-0123.  Emergency phone calls after hours will be routed to the Embassy Duty Officer for assistance.
All consular operations will re-open on November 20, 2007 at the new Embassy at Kilometer 51/2 (5.5) Carretera Sur.  American Citizens Service hours of operation will continue to be 1:00 to 3:00 PM.  Please note that there will not be a photographer on location at the new Embassy.  For additional information prior to November 14, please send an email to ACS.Managua@state.gov.
