President Bush today announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to observe the Presidential and Legislative Elections in Managua, Nicaragua on November 5, 2006.

The Members of the Presidential Delegation are:

  • The Honorable Paul Trivelli, United States Ambassador to the Republic of Nicaragua.
  • The Honorable J. Bennett Johnston, Former United States Senator from Louisiana.
  • The Honorable Bill Paxon, Former Member of the United States House of Representatives from New York
